Wonderful pics of my girl and great artistic photography. I helped Jazzy make her costume. Zip ties are the next duct tape when it comes to women fixin' stuff!

Trevor, nice work!!! I must comment about a statement you made. You said, "one is trained to kill and the other is trained to heal". Doesn't that depend on how you look at their professions? I believe a more correct statement would be "one is trained to protect our country and the other is trained to heal the wounded of our country".

This shoot took place in downtown Tampa, and that building is an interesting looking old church I've been wanting to shoot for a while. My goal is to shoot the interior at some point.

Thanks for the comments. Criticism/praise from you is always welcome.

Your post production was done very tastefully. I was trying to figure out what I liked so much about number 9 and ten. For number nine, I like your 45 degree approach on the subject. I also like the fact that the background is filled with the university, or what ever it is. Gives the photo a sense of placement and importance.

For number 10, I like the rim lighting that the sun provides. But, the composition is solid. It makes me wonder where she's headed, but also drives my eye down the perpendicular road that she's crossing. There both very candid and editorial, which are two things I like a lot. Keep it up. Your work is really good.

number 10 got a little more treatment than 9. If my memory serves me correctly I used a flash on 10 but still had to do a little dodging. I did the typical color correction, blurred some background a little and killed the blacks with a dark brown. It’s almost amazing how crooked the horizon is with the light pole… My personal favorite is still number 6. :)

I REALLY like numbers 9 and 10. Very cinematic. Composition couldn't be better. The shadows and rim light are great. Did you use any artificial light or is this all natural? What about post? Any major touch-ups or SOOC? Inquiring minds want to know!
