Paradise 2
0If you remember my original post “Welcome to Paradise”, you remember a beautiful little town in the Midwest. Well, I went back recently but with a different purpose. This time, and for the first time on this site, I decided to make a video. I’m not about to think of myself as some kind of movie production master, but I wanted to give it a shot. Making movies is something I enjoy and will probably do more in the future. I took a few photos while I was there, including YET ANOTHER attempt at astro photo. The result was slightly better, but still not what I’m looking for. Someday…
The Wedding
0A few weeks ago I was given an opportunity that isn’t very easy to receive. A friend of mine (who was featured in the Bioshock post as Big Daddy) was getting married and asked me to shoot it. This was somewhat of a risk on their part, as I had never shot a wedding before. To trust someone who has no prior wedding photography experience is a big deal, and I didn’t take it lightly.
At any rate, it was a great wedding on a beautiful day. They’re sort of goofy, which made my job only better. Take a look and enjoy.
Party to the Floor
0I recently hit up a birthday party for the glorious Rhianna. This party had fireworks, black lights, strobe lights, trick candles, people passing out, loud music, and somehow managed to avoid police intervention. I certainly had an interesting time of my own, but that’s a story for another day. Here are some pictures from the party.
Minor Reflection
0I’ve had an idea for a while to take some shots in a city right after the rain. I won’t say that this attempt was a failure, but the rain wasn’t quite as fresh as I had hoped. I also planned to shoot it before the sun had fully set. This post is an experiment on a few different levels. Enjoy.
